As I’ve written before, I’ve actually shared the dais with Mr. Van Jones and have been keeping up with him ever since. Glenn Beck did his best work in discovering that Van Jones has been in leadership of key radical Leninist organizations including the Ella Baker Center, which sent an appeal to allocate 10% of the new global warming tax (cap and trade) for Van Jones slush fund. HUH? I’m sure the predominantly black populations of equator will be stunned to the hear that. It’s proof these people will use RACE to justify ANY public theft and extortion.
If Californians were idiotic enough to think grabbing more money from taxpayers and businesses would magically change the atmosphere, perhaps they deserve this. While the scientific debate is still quite undecided whether the entire Earth is warming or cooling. (It doesn’t matter as the global warming religionists say either one is proof of global warming.) But just to recap that status of all the “signs” that would undergird the man-made global warming argument:
The Antarctic sea ice extent has been at or near record extent in the past few summers and the ice is expanding, the Arctic hasrebounded in recent years since the low point in 2007, polar bears are thriving, sea level is not showing acceleration and isactually dropping, Cholera and Malaria are failing to follow global warming predictions, Mount Kilimanjaro melt fears are being made a mockery by gains in snow cover, global temperatures have been holding steady for a decade or more and many scientists are predicting global cooling is ahead, deaths due to extreme weather are radically declining, global tropical cyclone activity is near historic lows, the frequency of major U.S. hurricanes has declined, the oceans are missing their predicted heat content, bigtornados have dramatically declined since the 1970s, droughts are not historically unusual nor caused by mankind, there is no evidence we are currently having unusual weather, scandals continue to rock the climate fear movement, the UN IPCC has been exposed as being a hotbed of environmental activists, former Vice President Al Gore is now under siege by his fellow global warming activists for attempting to link every bad weather event to man-made global warming and scientists from around the world continue to dissent from man-made climate fears at a rapid pace.

Show California we must invest at least 10% of Cap and Trade Revenue into programs that benefit the health, wealth, and power of our most disadvantaged communities.

Consider these inequitable repercussions of heat waves:
- California's heat wave in the summer of 2006 caused 140 heat-related deaths, when only 10-12 is typical.
- That year, the heat wave also caused 16,166 excess emergency room visits.
- What's even more troubling is that heat waves disproportionately kill people of color and people in low-income communities.
- African Americans in Los Angeles are nearly twice as likely to die from a heat wave than other Los Angeles residents. Low housing quality, access to cooling centers, and lack of access to transportation all increase the risk of death in a heat wave. Too often, people of color and low-income communities severely lack access to resources to cope with extreme weather conditions.
We strongly believe that closing the climate gap begins with policies that leave no one behind. Cap and Trade revenue should be used to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, create wealth for low-income workers, and help mitigate the health impacts of climate change.
