Did Ted Cruz Really Win Every County in Maine?

The Boston Globe and 2 local papers didn't give him a chance. He didn't win a single county in Massachussetts 4 days earlier. Did Cruz really win EVERY county in Maine?

Here’s the Good News on Romney’s Loss

RomObamaDebate

Did you ever go through a rough patch in your life and have the thought;

“I wouldn’t take a million dollars to avoid going through that because it made me better as a person?”

Of course, the flip side of that is that you probably wouldn’t TAKE a million dollars to have to go through it again.

Meet your new million dollar gift from God.

The 5 stages come quickly in an electronic MTV age when denial and anger morph into depression and acceptance without even having time to bargain for a hopeless outcome.  But Politijim is here to help.  I may have been gone for a while but have not been exiled to obscurity – at least not yet.

There are many good reasons we should accept the humiliating defeat by Mitt Romney to an undocumented alien with record unemployment (23 million), record debt ($1 Trillion+ per year) who ordered the apparent murder of a US Ambassador and who has been proven by a law enforcement agency to have forged his birth certificate and selective service records (not to mention his Social Security Number and heterosexuality.)

I already ranted on Facebook about the “I told you so” to the GOP so it is time to move on and accept WHY this defeat will actually HELP America rather than seal its demise.

REASON #1: REALITY WILL FINALLY PREVAIL OVER RHETORIC

As shown by the great Dan Mitchell, it is no accident that Obama has the WORST recovery record in jobs and GDP in history.  He will NOT cut taxes or reduce spending.  And with the $4,200/year in new taxes coming for the average American family as well as the soaring health care costs and increased Medicaid costs to Seniors - even his OWN constituents will finally realize how terrible the economy is under the putative President.

No amount of Chris Matthews/Gloria Mitchell/Rachael Maddow perfumed prose will cover the cow sh*t most Americans will be walking in within the year.  We won’t have to say a thing.

THIS IS GOOD NEWS.  When people can’t pay their cable bill because gas is $8/gallon and a gallon of milk tops $6 – reality will do what the RNC failed to do.  Namely, get across the point that socialism sucks and it ain’t stopping under the DEMs.

REASON #2: OBAMA WILL BE DISGRACED AS PRESIDENT

Benghazi isn’t going to be buried.  GOP Congressmen have already announced hearings and Gingrich rightly agreed and that, “you cant have an incident of this scale – an Ambassador being killed for the first time since Jimmy Carter in 1980 – and Congress has an obligation to look into it.”

Many on my Twitter timeline doubt that the GOP has the rocks to also go after (finally) the incredulous forgeries and blatant disregards for the constitution.  That may be true.  But Fast and Furious is still a LEGAL matter and Benghazi will not be buried by key GOP Congressmen and our military.  There WILL be impeachment proceedings (although I’m calling for treason charges).  Much like Bill Clinton who survived an NBC expose’ of his rape of Juanita Broderick, Obama will be reelected only to face the reality of the charges in his second term.  He will NOT, however, find enough willing Democrats who are up for reelection in 2014 to go along with his destructive agenda and he certainly won’t buy a vowel as Clinton did and tack center/right to remain in the favor of the American people.  He will finally hang himself.

Gingrich is also correct that Obama can NOT escape the catastrophe of Hurricane (SuperStorm) Sandy.  Even if the mainstream continues to hide it nationally (which will be difficult being in a major media market), it’s weight will wear on previously willing accomplices like Christie and local representatives who have no one else to blame.

The good news is that with the unending corruption and an invigorated TEA Party and military, a weighty enough necklace might begin choking the free reign Barack believes he enjoys.  Democrats know there is no way in hell that Biden would get elected and the inevitable debt, unemployment and economy would finally cause many to turn on a President with no more power to hold over their heads.  The BEST news is that even if Obama is likely to dribble out the clock on 4 more years he will be disgraced as a SITTING President with an even more energized opposition.  And it should set up a REAL conservative rather than the milquetoast moderate we had in Dole, McCain and Mitt.

REASON #3: BOILING OF THE TEA PARTY

Granted, a lot of TEA candidates got their pots kicked.  Some due to desertion by Republican establishment types trying to please their MSM masters – and some due to their own weakness as orators and disciplined statesmen.  But don’t think the TEA Party has gone away.  The ObamaCareTax bite only gets deeper and more rabid causing an even GREATER entrenchment by those that began the fight only two years ago.  We TEA types, however, must not get suckered into the false delusion we are great in number.  An example was Ohio where:

According to exit polls Tuesday, 21% of respondents said they supported the tea-party movement, with 30% opposing it and 41% remaining neutral.

We are solid but we require MUCH help from those who aren’t fully devoted to our cause.  They WILL however rally on a clear message.

TEA is best served FISCALLY (not socially) where clear economic advantages are evident.  And with the number of unemployed likely to rise with increased regulations through Obama’s EPA and Department of Agriculture, combined with a strangling of small business that creates most jobs – a clear ECONOMIC opposition will continue to gain ground.  I know that historians always found it odd that Christianity flourished where its oppression was most intense.  The same is true with the remaining Americans who understand the HOPE of this nation to be a FREE people even before being a prosperous one.

I am witness to dozens of personal friends who weren’t even politically active less than 4 years ago who give a MINIMUM of 10+ hours per week to local TEA and GOP reform efforts.  Ted Cruz is one of them.  And the appeal of Sarah Palin and Newt Gingrich grows STRONGER with the failure of still another mushy moderate trying to market themselves as a Conservative 9.0.  But it DOES require skilled and experienced politicians to gather around for local races.  In the primaries TEA-ers had a 44% success rate at challenging the establishment.  And those that lost have learned, grown up and gotten wiser.  It’s a long, long road – but the forces traveling down it are not getting discouraged or disillusioned – only more determined.

The just need to re-woo the Libertarian wing that may indeed have cost Romney the election.  We have a fiscal commonality that is organic.  And we aren’t going anywhere – especially as the screws tighten.  In fact MORE should join as they feel the pain of the socialistic government.

REASON #4: JESUS (and YVWH) Love Us.

It is an indisputable fact that this nation was formed in covenant with an Almighty God.  It is also an indisputable fact that 9 of the 10 worst natural disasters in the US have come in conjunction with an anti-biblical policy against Israel.  BOTH political parties adopted a platform that went against God’s Word.  Both candidates advocated the splitting of Israeli land from land God Himself ordained for His people.  Forget for a moment that the postage stamp-sized country is being asked to give up land to a people that the Arabs (with massive land surrounding them) have refused to provide it for THOUSANDS of years.  Forget also that Israel is a SOVERIGN nation that doesn’t need to answer to America or anyone else to do as they please.  Hurricane Sandy formed (literally) the night of the final Presidential debate where BOTH candidates made their (unbiblical) positions clear.

And that’s not the half of it.  “We the People” elected a man who voted 3 times to kill a baby if it survived a failed abortion.  We continue to allow unborn babies with beating hearts and brainwaves to be killed in their mother wombs.  We openly adopted God’s sacred institution of marriage for a union God clearly calls “an abomination.”

Sure, the left laughs (as do some on the right) at the hilarity of the ignoramuses who not only believe in God, but tie major world events to it.  Funny how they can’t explain the thousands of documented miracles that occurred including many that founded this nation.  It was so profound that reformed playboy, world leading scientist and “theist” Benjamin Franklin stated,

“…the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth- that God Governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without his aid? We have been assured, Sir, in the sacred writings, that "except the Lord build the House they labour in vain that build it." I firmly believe this; and I also believe that without his concurring aid we shall succeed in this political building no better, than the Builders of Babel: We shall be divided by our little partial local interests; our projects will be confounded, and we ourselves shall become a reproach and bye word down to future ages. And what is worse, mankind may hereafter from this unfortunate instance, despair of establishing Governments by Human wisdom and leave it to chance, war and conquest.

Benjamin Franklin June 28, 1787

If those that had a front row seat to the improbable (some say impossible) forming of a nation claim convincing proofs that God is involved here, who are we to say otherwise?  Could we possibly understand the perfectly timed fog that allowed Washington to escape defeat at New York or gain victory at Trenton?

Franklin understood this and demanded that we ask “the assistance of heaven” for our endeavors as a nation.  It is not so hard to imagine then that a loving God who desires His children to come into obedience, increasingly turn up the pressure SO THAT they can operate with His spiritual laws that provide peace and prosperity as we saw in the early years of this country when we eagerly sought His grace.

It is certainly possible to me that life will increasingly become like that of godless Europe with excessive taxation, sputtering economies and turmoil unless we heed the KEY He has provided us:

2 Chronicles 7:14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Conclusion

So yes.  If the economic and even emotional pain finally drive us to seek God instead of the next magic politician or political movement that will supposedly save us from our woes – this can be a good thing.

We have legions of new patriots who have awoken at the war cry of the past few years.

We have knowledge that we can not rely on ANY political party to do the right thing and we CAN cause hard fought victories like Ted Cruz and Pat Toomey.

We understand this is going to be hard and we will have to sacrifice our comforts to take responsibility to “right the ship” in everything from our local school board to our national elections.  And we will be fought every step of the way.

And we know that at multiple times in America’s history we have called upon God – be it FDR’s prayer before WW2 or Lincoln’s prayer for a divided country to become united – and He has answered.  Prosperity and peace DID follow.

I doubt we can wait on Barack to call for a national day of prayer and fasting – but we can individually call out as we teach our children and neighbors how serious this has become.

In 2009 I held up a sign at the first TEA Party rally declaring that our children would have to come up with $34,000 to pay our bills.  It has now soared to nearly $52,000 and our money is on the way to be worthless in the next 5 years at the rate we are spending and printing money.

We will repent for our nation.

We will work to be responsible for the power we have as “We the People.”

We will walk in faith that as we do we EVERYTHING we can to elect strong conservatives, God will show up and move on this country to not just heal our land – but to heal our consciences which have become dull to His pleading.

And if that takes a little pain to wake up enough people to reach Him – then all of this will have been worth it, if only for our children.

Analysis: Veep Pick Gives Obama 4 to 8 points Back

RomneyCrazy

Alan V_thumbAlan Vera graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola University with a minor in military science. He served as an Army Airborne Ranger in special operations and lectures nationally on political issues and business strategies.

The selection of Paul Ryan as Vice President

RESULT:  The GOP gives back 4-8 percentage points.

This assessment is not at all related to my role with True the Vote, a non-partisan, grassroots effort to restore election integrity. This assessment is from my perspective as a magna cum laude graduate in Political Science. It is not about right and wrong. It is not about constitutionality. It is not about whether
or not Paul Ryan is a good man, a fiscal conservative or a real patriot.

This is purely about Political Science as it relates to running campaigns and winning elections.

We have two major political parties in the U.S. We have the “corrupt party” and the “stupid party.” In the last two weeks the Communist Party has furthered its reputation as corrupt with the Obama PAC TV spot accusing Mitt Romney of causing the death of a woman from cancer and the laughable statements from Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Deborah Whatshername Schultz.

From the perspective of Political Science, last night and this morning the GOP proved once again why it has earned the title “the stupid party.” Last night in the White House Chief of Staff Valerie Jarrett and DNC Chair Debbie Whatshername Schultz were exchanging high fives over the GOP selection. Joe Biden tried to join in, but kept missing and hitting Debbie on the forehead. Fortunately, Debbie was stoned as usual and didn’t notice.

I look at the same polls that Dick Morris sees. In the swing/battleground states Romney has been ahead and has been gaining momentum. The selection of Paul Ryan will give back to the Commies somewhere between 4-8 percentage points of the popular vote. At this time I can’t tell what impact that has on the electoral vote.

Unbelievably, the GOP has played right into the hands of the CommieCrat narrative that the GOP:

  1. Is White.
  2. Is Male.
  3. Is Wealthy.
  4. Cares more about cutting taxes for the rich than helping the poor and elderly with their medical needs.

It doesn’t matter whether any of the above is true or not. It matters that the CommieCrats are EXPERTS at selling this narrative and that the stupid party missed a key chance to eliminate one or two of the key CommieCrat talking points. They will make good use of these fables to re-gain lost ground.

(For perspective, I subscribe under assumed names to the email newsletters of every Commie elected official in East Texas. By 10:00 a.m. CDT this morning each of them had sent out their email blast attacking Paul Ryan and the GOP with the very talking points I’ve summarized above.)

Let’s examine the problem further.

THE GOP STRATEGY

The stupid party has absolutely NO CLUE how to play OFFENSE. It is ALWAYS on the defensive, defending itself against CommieCrat initiatives, always allowing the Commies to play OFFENSE.

The selection of Paul Ryan was a typical GOP defensive move. How?

Ryan does not offend the key base of GOP financial contributors. The GOP believes MONEY is the key to winning any election, so their base of contributors is of highest priority. Picking Ryan defends the financial base.

As a favorite son, Ryan helps the GOP defend its recent gains in the swing state of Wisconsin.

Paul Ryan has NEVER said anything memorable, let alone controversial. So the GOP has defended itself against haunting echoes of any memorable speech.

The GOP has made some gains among fiscally conservative Tea Party types. Paul Ryan is associated with some efforts to slow down government growth (not reverse it), and this helps the GOP defend its gains among conservative activists.

Now the GOP will again find itself defending Paul Ryan’s budget bills against accusations that he was going to “push grandma off the cliff on medical benefits.”

THE VOTER SEGMENT BATTLEGROUND

20% of legally registered voters are avowed Progressive/Communists. They cannot be moved.

40% of legally registered voters identify themselves as “conservative,” and will likely vote with the GOP.

That means that the election battle is for the 40% in the middle.

Half of this middle group (20%) is the “ill informed” segment. Though they claim generally Christian and conservative values, they swallow all the crap that the Commies throw out there. They buy the “social justice” crap through their churches and drink the Kool-Aid on most welfare issues. The GOP is probably incapable of “de-programming this group, and they can easily go with the CommieCrats.

So now it’s 40/40 for the GOP and the Commies. The battle comes down to the remaining 10%. These are the “un-informed.” They don’t care about politics. They don’t do any research for themselves. They think politics is boring. But they watch TV and are, therefore, subject to the lies and distortions broadcast by the state run media. And, they do turn out to vote every so often.

Polls have shown that Obama has lost 10-15 percentage points of his previously strong black voting base. With an all-white ticket on the GOP side, the Commies have a good chance to recover some of that lost ground on purely racial propaganda.

Polls have also shown that enthusiasm among Black voters for Obama has waned and the likely voter turnout will not be as high in 2012 as it was in 2008. Ryan’s selection gives the Commies a chance to re-invigorate and re-energize that base, again purely along the lines of race and a threat to welfare entitlements.

THE GOP HOPE

The GOP will again snatch defeat from the jaws of victory UNLESS it breaks tradition and goes on OFFENSE, quickly adopts and organizes grassroots tactics and spends every penny it has exposing Obama with no holds barred.

In the just-completed Texas GOP primary for U.S. Senate, the RINO Texas Lieutenant Governor played the part of the CommieCrats. He attacked Tea Party Ted Cruz with vicious TV ads very much like what the Commies will use against the GOP ticket between now and November.

Cruz countered with a massive, Tea-Party-led grassroots effort that involved literally thousands of hours of block walking by dedicated conservatives who countered every Dewhurst advertising point in one-on- one discussions on the front porches of voters.

Though out-spent by $29 Million, the Cruz campaign pulled off a 14 percentage point win. Cruz even had campaigners at every single voting location reaching the “un-informed” voters and literally winning votes on the asphalt just outside the voting area. It worked. Grassroots work can overcome mass media every time.

I don’t know whether or not the GOP understands this. I suspect that the establishment of the party will remain the stupid party. If Obama is to be defeated in November, it will not be because the GOP did anything right. It will be because conservative activists across the country get off their asses, out of their homes and into the neighborhoods and community centers to educate the “un-informed voters” (10%) on the truth about the candidates.

CONCLUSION

Does Paul Ryan’s selection improve the GOP’s chances of winning in November? No.

I like Paul Ryan. I’ve read his bills. I think he’s smart. I think he’s a good guy.

I heard him speak at the Texas GOP Convention in Fort Worth in June. He was very informative. He was very knowledgeable. He was very boring.

The stupid party is not capable of beating Hussein Obama. They will try over and over to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. If Hussein is to be defeated, it will be up to “We the People” to make it happen.

So what else is new?

Is It Wrong to Rag on Mitt Romney Before Tampa?

BrokeredConventionMittPaul

Many nervous Nellies are expressing displeasure at my post showing that presumptive candidates only have a 33% chance of winning the general election while non-presumptive candidates form a brokered convention have gone on to win 7 of 8 contests.

There are 7 good reasons (in my opinion) why not only is it acceptable to challenge Mitt Romney in Tampa – it is necessary.

Part 1 – Is it Wrong to Rag on Mitt Romney Prior to Tampa?

Part 2 - Is the Mitt Romney Campaign Masterful or Misleading?

New Poll Proves Ann Coulter Was Right the First Time

CoulterVCoulter

Completely ignoring her original CPAC speech claiming that the GOP would loose if Mitt Romney was their nominee, she and others proceeded to make the exact opposite case that ONLY Mitt Romney had a chance in hell of winning in November.  It seems hell is closed for expansion renovations.

A new Economist/YouGov poll shows that twice as many Americans believe that Mitt Romney eliminated many jobs as opposed to creating many.  By a double digit margin, more believed he is more likely to have destroyed any jobs rather than create them.  Wasn’t this supposed to be his big selling point?

Remember, all the reasons the RINO’s, and betraying turncoats like Coulter, gave us to toss aside the most powerful conservative Speaker in our time who could legitimately claim the creation of 12 million jobs while balancing the budget four consecutive times, and beginning entitlement reform?  Let’s take a quick mid-term grade report:

Reason to Nominate Mitt

Grade

He can match Obama in Money

C

He has the best campaign media team

C-

He can attract Independents

B

He is considered a job creator

D-

As mentioned yesterday, since Mitt can’t spend is general election dough and can only use his primary money he is getting hammered in total ad spending.  The same thing he did to Gingrich in Iowa and Florida is being done to him.

You would think it wouldn’t matter.  Conn Carroll writes this morning:

Unemployment has stagnated at 8.2 percent. Consumer spending is down. Manufacturing fell for the first time in three years. The U.S. economy is sinking.

Also as @KLSouth reports, consumer confidence in the U.S. has continued to deteriorate in the month of June as consumers are more pessimistic about the short-term outlook of the economy and in early July, consumer sentiment cooled to its lowest level in seven (7) months.

How is this possible?  Shouldn’t Romney be leading by 20 points?  Gingrich was so effective with his $2.50 gas strategy IN THIRD PLACE that White House was answering him daily, and even faked approval of the Keystone pipeline to try and avert the damage.

There are two important things to consider here.  First, Mitt Romney and his campaign have no clue how to sell a big idea or land a big punch.  The revolutionary anti-colonialist communist collectivist in Chief delivered up an 82 mph fastball right over the center of the plate by telling business owners that, “If you’ve got a business. you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”

The Romney campaign did a lot right.  They responded within minutes with outrage.  They got business owners together at a campaign stop to point out that Obama hasn’t attended a jobs council meeting in six months, but has had plenty of time for 200 fundraisers.

However, it took five days for ABC, CBS and NBC to even mention it – let alone the associated outrage.

Political Truth #666: Elections are still won by media, and money to buy that media.

If there were 100 voters, and 20 listened to Rush Limbaugh every day, they would know many of the problems with Obama (but not that a law enforcement investigation has proven that he has forged government documents).  A different 20 might be the deciding factor in an election and nearly ALL of their information might come from a few minutes of network news, friends they overhear for a couple of minutes or Jon Stewart.  Money matters because it FORCES a message to people who wouldn’t otherwise hear it.

The second thing to consider is that only about 8 states really matter.  Romney going up by (shockingly only) 2 points over Obama nationally is irrelevant.  In swing states, Obama is still up by 2, likely by a constant barrage of TV ad brainwashing.  And that doesn’t count the extra 4 or more percentage points he will get through outright voter fraud.  Eric Holder didn’t prosecute the New Black Panther thugs in Philadelphia, and he attacks states who want to clean dead voters off the rolls because they know they need it.  It’s why dead dogs are receiving voter registrations.

WHAT CAN BE DONE?

Political Truth #667: Money doesn’t matter if your credibility is seriously in question, or is demolished.

Massive conservative media attention on Sheriff Joe’s nine month law enforcement investigation including the testimony from the 95 year old Hawaiian registrar who allegedly signed a different version of Obama’s long form birth certificate would finally seep out.  It took two years for the New York Times to keep hammering on an insignificant political break in, and simultaneous public media prosecution WOULD eventually be covered.  Obama would loose all remaining credibility with swing voters and this election would be over.

The second option is to help Lawyers for Ron Paul on their lawsuit against the GOP to make sure the GOP convention nomination goes to a second ballot where we can choose a candidate who isn’t limp wristed in drawing distinctions between he and Obama that not only gets the coverage of the mainstream media, but forces the White House to directly engage.

I’m Sick of Mitt Maulers and Willard Whitewashers

GoodMittBadMitt

On one side we have the “Mormon Romney is satan” crowd and the “Romney is a secret liberal” group screaming to not vote for the Mittster.  They argue not to vote for Mitt – even now - on religious or conservative purity grounds.

On the other side we have the perpetual RINO’s gloating about their inevitability or those metrosexual Mitts that are petrified of saying ANYTHING negative about Romney fearing that it automatically extends the lease at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue for four more years.

Neither are thinking straight.  (Oh yeah...  “IMHO”)

GROUP 1.

Anyone who thinks that Mitt Romney will be any more effective than George Bush 41 likely also thinks the Chief Justice Robert’s ObamaCare decision was helpful to the country or at least the GOP.  If you are in that category, YOU are the problem.  You are the people who didn’t want to press the budget ceiling debate and settled for Boehner’s $1 Trillion Defense cut “compromise” with Harry Reid.  You make me sick.  And mark my words – you will no longer run the GOP or the conservative movement.  We, the Tea People, won’t let you.

You “let’s don’t rock the RINO boat” people caused the Pelosi/Reid takeover by straying from limited government principles, too afraid to call out George Bush for fear the democrats would hear you.  Frankly, you seem to love your political party more than your country.  It is indisputable that Romney’s governing record was dismal including the outright lies he made to cover his implementation of gay marriage by Executive Order in his state.  Not only is he NOT a good representative of the GOP or conservatism, there is absolutely no reason to believe he will govern any differently from his liberal leaning moderate Massachusetts RINO record no matter what he says.  George Herbert Walker Bush channeled Newt Gingrich and Ronald Reagan to get elected in 1988 and we ended up with Bill Clinton as the real Voodoo economics voiceover had to actually, you know, make decisions and lead.

KNOW THIS Group 1sters: Every true patriotic Constitutional conservative will be fighting you like Neo on Mr. Smith in Tampa in hopes that we can get to a second ballot.  We will take any chance to not just to delay the inevitable destruction of true constitutional conservatism under Romney – but to actually fix it.

GROUP 2.

Those who think that Mitt’s Mormonism (or his lack of a true conservative ideology) are more important that stopping a forger with his finger on the button and who just gave himself the ability to suspend all cell phone and wired communication under last Friday’s Executive Order, are one “M” away from the LDS themselves.  They are morons.  (That means ESPECIALLY you Bill Keller.)  As Gabor Zolina wrote at Western Journalism, “Why doesn’t a President need this power with only 120 days left in office?”  Even WITH having to get reelected, Barry Obama and Hilary are giving away our sovereignty via the sea treaty LOST, the UN gun control treaty, the gulf drilling forgery and the Russia Alaska island give away crimes just to name a few.  I supposed you Pharisees also refuse to let the Pakistani doctor in the Emergency Room apply the tourniquet to your loved one who has been in a car accident too?  Yeah, let’s make sure that every cook at every restaurant tithes and isn’t fornicating as well.  After all – THE TOUCH YOUR FOOD!!  (insert spooky noise here.)

First to the sanctimonious subset of Group 2, the Mormon Alarmists: I’ve got news for you.  Even Barack Obama, isn’t the anti-Christ either (though he’s trying very hard).  How about the active GOP adulterers and accepters of bribes in Congress?  Where is your selective outrage about their sin?  The only people Jesus cursed and upbraided were the self-righteous religious people.  Romney has said out of his own mouth that Jesus is Lord and that he accepts the Bible as the Word of God.  That very bible says that ONLY God knows a man’s heart.  You who actively call Romney satan and spew hate are not Christians.  You are like your father “the accuser.”  Jesus didn’t do that.  Why can’t you unemotionally point out problems without attacking him PERSONALLY.  He is not part of a plot by the Mormon church to take over the world.  If so, they will be sorely disappointed because the man can barely lead a willing horse out of burning building.  You people embarrass the rest of us Christians who know it will be extremely disappointing if Romney does become the nominee in Tampa and likely wastes a real chance at getting this country back to a Constitutional mindset.  Yes Mormonism is a cult.  Yes, they have weird Scientology-like doctrine.  But not a single person will respect your opinion since you are a rabid, fire breathing stranger to them with no credibility.  Minds are not changed that way.  And in comparison with what Obama is doing – he’s not going to start conducting secret rituals in the Oval Office any more demonic than what the current occupant is doing.

“Purist” economic conservatives and/or uneducated libertarians are the other half of this second group.  Of course Romney is lying.  Of course Romney will end up leaving some kind of health care.  Of course he will end up NOT reforming government.  Y’all acting like the weenies in grade school who would sit down in a tantrum and cry if they didn’t get to be the pitcher on the pee-wee league.  Your are ignorant of history if you think the guys who WROTE and RATIFIED the Constitution were all on the same page.  Most likely we would have been un-unified when England and France wanted to re-invaded us, had they not duped the dumb slave-loving Southerners with the “all men are created equal” definition.  (Yes they were dumb because they didn’t think that slaves were included in “all men”.)  Just look how torn apart the country became when the Federalists and Jeffersonians didn’t have George Washington to keep the peace.   But like World War 1 and World War 2, we Americans unify to attack the biggest threat to us all, and push off the things that won’t kill us to argue over later.

And let’s face it.  Four more years of Barack Obama and his Marxist Round Table WILL put an end to our countries future for a very, very long time.  Even the non-conspiratorial probabilities are disastrous. Many Cubans that were intimidated by the charisma of Fidel Castro learned quickly how hard it was to overturn a tyrant AFTER he had power.  As did the Russians.  And there isn’t another democratic republican superpower out there that will come to our aid.  In fact China, North Korea and every other group already has plans to keep us under the thumb of oppression.  As the Taliban proved, if you keep compromising, you end up with tyranny.  You won’t be mistaken for a tin foil fool by firmly resisting more desecration of our Constitution.

So let’s please be rational.  Romney is NOT the nominee yet.  Although the media, the GOP and the conservative MSM don’t want to tell you – this delegate thing is long from settled.  And there is every prospect that the RNC will attempt to use Obama-like tactics to grease the track for Mitt’s coronation in Tampa.  The scaredy cats of Group 1 will cry and wail like a 6 year old brat having to each spinach before going to bed early.

So for TRUE conservatives, I propose this plan:

A) Attempt ordered chaos in Tampa, pressing the delegate challenges to attempt a brokered convention.   At worse, Romney still has his cash and he knows he will have to keep the Tea Party happy.

B) If we are successful at getting to a second ballot, we steadfastly refuse ANY candidate that 1.) can’t argue effectively in the media or the debates, 2.) who has successfully crafted multiple successful national campaigns based on conservative principles and 3.) who will give clear differentiation's over Obama’s lies like "$2.50 gas."  It wouldn’t hurt if that candidate had balanced the budget 4 times in a row in the 90’s and reformed welfare.

C) If we are not successful, we get Mitt elected to stop hemorrhaging of our freedoms under Hugo Obama.  And (although it won’t help) we ask the new administration to investigate and prosecute ALL of the crimes of the past 4 years, this time not allowing Obama to become “senior statesman” like G. Bush did to Bill C.

D) When Mitt is elected, we work our tea stained trousers off to get Jim DeMint types at every local, state and Federal position possible while figuring out how to take over the GOP party.  UNDER NO CASE do we let Mitt slip into RINO mode as many did with Bush for fear of criticizing him.

E) When RomRom reverts to his RINO ways – we fiercely attack and embrace a Gingrich or Palin type (Scott Walker?) to challenge in 2016.

But we vow to never, ever, trust a man who implemented the most liberal policies of ANY state in the nation in enacting policies of socialized health care, abortion, gay marriage and cap and trade.

Ann, You Ignorant Slut

Annignorantslut

You wouldn’t think PolitiJim would wander back into “slut” territory after the GOP Primary SLUTSS incident, but I’m a glutton for offending it seems.  (Just keepin’ it real yo’.)  As every Saturday Night Live enthusiast will recognize, the aforementioned title is a play on the Dan Akyroyd and Jane  Curtin’s “Point/Counter Point” skit.  After a very erudite discussion on some political views, Akyroyd’s character would inevitably respond with, “Jane, you ignorant slut,” allowing a cathartic movement for all conservatives who at that time didn’t have a Rush Limbaugh, much less a Chris Christie.  (Coulter has responded exactly as this character by calling all Tea Partiers “pompous asses” in response to her dismantling of conservative values.)

In our skit today, Ann Coulter plays Jane, and common sense conservatives can relate to the Akyroyd role, as the fruits of her, Drudge, Nikki Haley and other establishment Republicans are ripening in the Romney campaign.  Given the greatest possible Presidential campaign slogan in modern times against his opponent in simply repeating Supreme Court Chief Justice’s assertion of ObamaCare is a tax, Romney is attempting to steal defeat out of the judicial activist laws of victory.  As everyone knows by now, Romney and his surrogates are saying that ObamaTaxCare is NOT a tax.  This would be fine if he was using it as an argument to impeach Justice Roberts.  From Conn Carroll at Washington Examiner:

Yesterday on MSNBC, Chuck Todd pressed Mitt Romney senior adviser Eric Fehrnstrom to explain why Obamacare’s individual mandate is a tax but Romneycare’s individual mandate is a penalty. Fehrnstrom declined. Instead he claimed that both the Obamacare mandate and the Romneycare mandate were penalties. This directly contradicts the message of every Republican that will be running down ballot from Rommney this fall. This is not a minor problem. (emphasis mine)

“ObamaTaxCare is the biggest tax increase in the history of the United States,” ain’t so hard to say.  Limbaugh nailed it just hours after that ruling.  Conservatives like PolitiJim who were extremely begrudgingly supportive of the former Human Events Top 10 RINO of 2006 found something to get latch on to as a rallying cry.  Taxed. Enough. Already.

“But PoltiiJim, isn’t this counterproductive to replacing Obama?”

Reader, you ignorant….  ok.  I’ve got to break myself of that.  Not at all.  We are arguing Romney isn’t CONSERVATIVE ENOUGH.  That actually helps Romney among Independents

Then of course, the same conservative “elite” began to tells us how brilliant the Roberts ruling was (Hugh Hewitt, George Will, Charles Krauthammer you know who you are) and our ire went from a whistling tea pot to blogs of boiling tea bursting rhythmically out of the spout.  As Thomas Sowell said yesterday, the village genius has always done more damage than the village idiot.  THESE are the people who keep rationalizing every GOP mess and cautioning “calm” giving cover to the politicians that consider a strong backbones something akin to erectile dysfunction.  (So that’s why Bob Dole was the spokesman!)

But let me say on behalf of every TRUE conservative, “We told you so.”  Romney has the weakest possible position against the strongest possible campaign issue since every finger pointed at ObamaTaxCare has four pointing back at RomneyCare.  Despite his misogynistic actions against Sarah Palin and Jamie Radtke, Erick Erickson got this one right.

And the argument that “it technically is not a tax” is irrelevant.  The normally sane The Right Scoop let the elitists brainwash him into thinking Romney played it right, after his initial reaction was precisely what the impact would be for the 99% who don’t get that deep into the political minutia.  The GOP has got to get better at understanding how to launch their great foundational logic in a post-MTV media age where initial emotional responses rule.

And why is Romney suddenly getting all uppity regarding the technical truth?  He didn’t let that stand in the way of his false attacks on Gingrich, his outright lying to Rick Perry about what he wrote in his book or – well – his entire political history.  He could even argue the whole “state’s experience” issue and still tag ObamaTaxCare for what it is.  He could say, “President Obama, you even used some of the RomneyCare advisors and got it wrong. Sixty percent of Massachusetts voters like our plan while sixty percent of Americans hate yours.”

CoulterRomneyEyesShut But thank you Ann Coulter.  Thank you Matt Drudge.  Thank you George Will.  Thank you Glenn Beck.  You have shown us that while you may find a good nut of truth every now and then, you’re logic is permanently based in squirrely pseudo-conservatism.  And if Romney is this weak on the mere arguments against ObamaTaxCare and the ruling, how do you think he will fare in convincing a nation to repeal it?  Or in arguing for abolition of ANY department?  Or implementing a needed tax cut to revive the economy?

I’ll vote for Romney if he’s the nominee.  And directly after repealing ObamaCare, I will work for his replacement in 2016.  But although slim, there is still a chance we can do better in Tampa.

The REAL delegate count. (h/t Mark Zampano)

Paging Speaker Gingrich.  Your Tea Party is ready.

You Too Can Help Deflate the Liberal ObamaTax Delusions

DebatingObamaCare

I had fun last night and went out to the liberal blogs.  YOU CAN TOO!  Just copy all or parts of the response I left below to every liberal blog you find.  I’ve left the url sources (mostly CBO estimates) in long form so it will paste when you visit them.  (H/T Senator Jim DeMint for the references and links.)

Here is a sample of how “horrible” those mean, nasty Republicans are (especially Romney) to stop the caring compassionate One who cares for all.

Their whine about Romney calling ObamaCare “bad” with my own [emphasis] that will give you a laugh:

NOBODY HAS ANY EXCUSE FOR SUPPORITING DANGEROUS CLOWN MITT ROMNEY

Likewise, the law doesn’t add “trillions to our deficits.” By most accounts, the law reduces the deficit over the next decade and works to reduce the overall rate of health care spending by the federal government. [HA!] And on the claims that the law will cause “up to 20 million Americans” to lose their insurance, and make it harder for businesses to hire, Romney is simply lying. [Then so is the CBO] Under the law, you can maintain your current health insurance if you like it. As for small businesses, since the Affordable Care Act hasn’t actually been implemented, there’s no way that it can be responsible for sluggish hiring. [I guess CNBC reports don’t ever make it over to MSNBC?]

The fact that Romney has decided to fabricate knocks against the Affordable Care Act is a sure sign that this ruling was bad for his campaign. The focus is no longer on whether the law is constitutional, but on whether the policy is good, and on a provision-by-provision basis, the Affordable Care Act is fairly popular with the public. [If by “popular” you mean “unpopular” then of course you are right]  Indeed, the Supreme Court’s ruling gives the Obama campaign a chance to reframe the law, and highlight its benefits for ordinary Americans. [Like a new tax on 9 million people that currently don’t want or have health insurance] If this works, then the focus will be on what people might lose if Republicans are elected in November. This is terrible ground for a challenger to fight on.

Of course, if Romney can muddy the waters, then he might keep Obama from capitalizing on any post-SCOTUS boost. So his best bet is to lie constantly about what’s actually in the bill.

That was astounding.  But also brought a little joy into my John Roberts-betrayed life.  So I responded with the following.  (I urge you to copy any portions you need to post on liberal blogs at HuffPo, DailyKos, ThinkProgress or FireDogLake.)

My response:

Wow - you all are in denial.  Using the CBO and Obama Admin's OWN numbers.

First - the CBO itself finally rescored the faked numbers the Democrats gave them (remember - no one actually READ the bill before it was passed) and the CBO revised the plan from 940B to 1.7T (CBO doc - http://www.cbo.gov/sites/default/files/cbofiles/attachments/03-13-Coverage%20Estimates.pdf) (and for those of you too lazy here is the Yahoo News version - http://news.yahoo.com/cbo-obamacare-price-tag-shifts-940-billion-1-163500655.html)

This isn't even HALF of the financial shortfalls of ObamaCare - that NOW WILL BE WORSE SINCE THE COURTS CAN NOT FORCE STATES TO PARTICIPATE.

CBO -  Imposes $800 billion in tax increases, including no fewer than 12 separate provisions breaking candidate Obama's "firm pledge" during his campaign that he would not raise "any of your taxes" (Sections 9001-9016) (CBO report here - http://cbo.gov/publication/22027)

ACA - Creates a board of 15 unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats to make binding rulings on how to reduce Medicare spending (Section 3403)

CBO - Requires all individuals to buy government-approved health insurance plans, imposing new mandates that will raise individual insurance premiums by an average of $2,100 per family (Section 1302)  (CBO report here - http://cbo.gov/publication/41792)

ACA - Forces seniors to lose their current health care, by enacting Medicare Advantage cuts that by 2017 will cut enrollment in half, and cut plan choices by two-thirds (Section 3201)

ACA - Imposes a 40 percent tax on health benefits, a direct contradiction of Barack Obama’s campaign promises (Section 9001)

HHS - Imposes reductions in Medicare spending that, according to the program’s non-partisan actuary, would cause 40 percent of all Medicare providers to become unprofitable, and could lead to their exit from the program (Section 3401) (HHS Actuary  - http://www.cms.gov/Research-Statistics-Data-and-Systems/Statistics-Trends-and-Reports/ReportsTrustFunds/downloads/2011TRAlternativeScenario.pdf)

CBO - Raises premiums on more than 17 million seniors participating in Medicare Part D, so that Big Pharma can benefit from its "rock-solid deal" struck behind closed doors with President Obama and Congressional Democrats (Section 3301) (CBO doc - http://cbo.gov/publication/21351)

ACA - Creates an institute to undertake research that, according to one draft Committee report prepared by Democrats, could mean that "more expensive [treatments] will no longer be prescribed" (Section 6301)

ACA - Empowers bureaucrats on a board that has ruled against mammograms and against prostate cancer screenings to make binding determinations about what types of preventive services should be covered (Sections 2713 and 4104) (Mammogram report - http://www.uspreventiveservicestaskforce.org/uspstf/uspsbrca.htm)

ACA - Precludes poor individuals from having a choice of health care plans by automatically dumping them in the Medicaid program (Section 1413(a))

White House -  Creates a new entitlement program that one Democrat called "a Ponzi scheme of the first order, the kind of thing that Bernie Madoff would have been proud of" -- a scheme so unsustainable even the Administration was forced to admit it would not work (Section 8002) (HHS admission of failure - http://aspe.hhs.gov/daltcp/Reports/2011/class/index.shtml)

Yeah - those rascally Republicans.  Using CBO and Administration reports to try and "scare" people.  The only thing more shameful than that - is those of you who aren't doing your own homework on this.

See?  Finding Holder in contempt wasn’t the only bright spot of an otherwise dreary day.

Here are good Fact Sheets from the Alliance Defense Fund (Download the ObamaCare Fact Sheet) and the Heritage Foundation (The Case Against ObamaCare.)

I Will Write In Palin If Rubio Is VP

RubioRomney

I will not vote for Marco Rubio as Vice President if Mitt Romney selects him to run on his ticket.  He is NOT constitutionally eligible to be President or Vice President, and I would be a damn hypocrite in holding my ire and giving him my vote after working as hard as possible to educate people on Barack Obama’s ineligibility.

Call me a Birther, call me a Tea Party hick, call me an “extremist” or racist, I could give a flying forgery.  I just don’t care anymore.  I’m not going to be like one of those liberals who complain about the rich not paying more taxes and not voluntarily putting their money where their mouth is.  And conservatives have constantly compromised on principle to the point where most Americans don’t think there is much difference in the spending habits of either party.

If you consider yourself a conservative – let me advise you that you can’t buy back your integrity when it’s convenient.  The video of the Middle School kids cursing the elderly lady on the bus in New York would never have happened if we, as a society, doled out a little more public shame and disgust rather than pretending we just “don’t judge.”  Conservatism is, and should be, demonstrating character, even when it’s not convenient just as the people who bought us liberty did with their blood.  You can’t change Hollywood or the media by yourself, but you damn sure can give an example to your kids, friends and cohorts.  You can finally quit pretending you believe in the Constitution and actually do it at the voting booth.

I’ve written extensively how Heritage Foundation, Free Congress Foundation and Moral Majority founder Paul Weyrich threatened to lead a revolt against the GOP in 2008 if McCain selected Mitt Romney as Vice President.  I’m certain Paul wasn’t just turning but on “puree” in his grave upon learning that Mitt Romney is now the GOP nominee.  Weyrich saw how unprincipled and deceptive Romney would be just to get power although I’m sure he’d buy the “worst of two evils” argument for November.  But I’m not going to be silent about stopping Rubio, Jindal (and possibly Santorum) from further desecrating our Constitution and rule of law.

The rule of law is being tortured and molested not only by this President, but by judges, policemen and policewomen, and the only party that has a chance keeps making excuses to go back on their promises.  (Remember Boehner and company’s 2010 Contract With America clone?)

The one time I have a chance to USE the authority George, Thomas, Samuel and others gave me to override the stupidity, blindness or subversion of others is on November 5th, 2012.  And although I can’t give any opportunity for the putative Pennsylvania Avenue pretender to remain in power any longer by withholding a Romney vote – I can at least uphold the constitution of the United States.  And I want you to do so too.

For the record I’ve generally liked Rubio but always felt his “conservatism,” while genuine, didn’t go to the bone.  Some were shocked that he endorsed Human Events 2006 Top 10 RINO over Gingrich or Santorum, but I wasn’t so shocked.  The mere fact he has NOT acknowledged that he is ineligible to be President or Vice President proves that he is not a Constitutionally correct conservative, much less worthy of our trust for carrying on the conservative mantle.

SusanaMartinezSooperMexican If you’re so convinced you need a Latino, then go with Susana Martinez or my Hispanic Hero - @SooperMexican.  But for God’s sake let’s don’t let the GOP tarnish constitutional lawfulness as they did fiscal conservatism.

The patriot hero Larry Klayman of Judicial Watch just argued this issue in Florida in the case of Obama’s eligibility.  Judicial Watch has taken on the FDA, DOJ, EPA, Big Pharma, White House (both Bush and Obama) and even the issue of domestic terrorist surveillance and is one of the longest patriotic conservative activists on our side.  This was the group that uncovered the leaking of classified documents to Hollywood filmmakers for the Obama Infomercial masquerading as a major film release to coincide with the 2012 election.  Named as one of the 10 most effective organizations by The Hill newspaper and the nations largest government watchdog group, Judicial Watch has filed 75 lawsuits and 850 FOIA requests against Obama administration alone.   What I’m trying to say here, is that no one on the right has ever confused Larry Klayman with Alex Jones.

For anyone who is willing to follow the facts (and the Constitution) – and not their own personal bias or agenda – the evidence concerning Natural Born Citizen is indisputable:

  • John Jay’s letters to Washington explaining why the President needed to be a soil born US citizen to two US citizen parents;
  • Jefferson, Adams, Monroe, Hamilton and many others all acknowledging Vatel’s Law of Nations as a chief guidebook for the writing of our Constitution that clearly defines Natural Born Citizen as I described.
  • The Federalist papers (No. 68) written by Hamilton confirm the same exact definition.
  • There are at least 3 Congressional acts that were passed after the Constitution was adopted that give us insight into what the Framers of the Constitution meant by “natural born Citizen.” The 1790 First Congress, which included twenty members who had been delegates to the Constitutional Convention eight of whom were members of the Committee of Eleven that drafted the “natural born Citizen” clause, passed the Naturalization Act of 1790 (1 Stat.103,104) which provided that “And the children of citizens of the United States that may be born beyond the sea, or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born citizens.”  George Washington would have vetoed this bill had he disagreed with it.  Or a similar one in the following Congress.
  • The U.S. Supreme Court ruled on the matter as to what is a “natural born Citizen” was in Minor v. Happersett, 88 U.S. (21 Wall.) 162 (1875) (decided after the Fourteenth Amendment was adopted in 1868 and holding that "all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners").
  • (A more scholarly overview of these and other facts on Mario Apuzzo’s site.)

The Left has tried exhaustively to confuse and denounce these conclusions.  They usually do it just like Obama’s lawyers tried to in the Judicial Watch Florida hearing where they simply leave out portions of a finding that are inconvenient.  You can watch that hearing here – it is thrilling to see Obama lawyers caught trying to deceive a judge:

Video streaming by Ustream

“So, PolitiJim why hasn’t any court already upheld this in all the cases brought against Obama’s eligibility so far?”

Good question.  Why did a judge find Aaron Walker guilty against harassing terrorist Brett Kimberlin just by reporting Kimberlin’s previous crimes and thus completely ignoring the First Amendment of our Constitution?  Because, not only are there terrible lawyers, there are idiot judges and corrupt judges.  We learned that the judge in Georgia was actually close friends of Obama’s attorney.  In San Diego, we saw a judge seemingly ready to find against Obama, but strangely changed his tune immediately following a visit from a paralegal from Obama’s law firm.  MOST of those eligibility cases were NOT brought on Article 2 (Natural Born Citizen) grounds, but on trying to introduced the forged birth certificate.  Not only did we have some really inept legal power, most courts claimed that the plaintiff did not have standing.  NONE actually argued the salient points of Article 2 or Minor v. Happersett precedent.  One tried to argue an Indiana state law (which has no parentage to explain of Federal law or the Constitution of the United States) and another tried to confuse “a US Citizen” with a “Natural Born Citizen” in the Wong Kim Ark case.

In fact, until Klayman came along, only the New Jersey court case with Mario Apuzzo was brought with some level of competence and without the hysterics and circus acts present in many others.  And Florida has the luxury of having a statute that allows ANY citizen to challenge the eligibility of any candidate on a Florida ballot.  But – if truth and the Constitution always won out in court – we wouldn’t have allowed 50 million babies to be killed since 1973.  That is more than the ENTIRE population of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Kansas and Kentucky combined.

You don’t like what the Framers did in disallowing great conservatives like Jindal and Rubio from having an opportunity to lead this nation?  Fine.  Then FOLLOW THE FRIGGIN’ LAW and CONSTITUTION and change it the way you are SUPPOSED to.  With an Amendment.

If you know this and still vote for him, you are no better than the common crook who shoplifts because he can just ignore the law “this time.”  Or the playa who doesn’t want the responsibility of a “baby daddy” and decides it’s cheaper to take his victim to the free clinic.

Just keepin’ it real, homey.

Freedom ain’t free and every decision you make to subvert the Constitution, makes it easier to do the next time when your conscience is weakened.

PolitiJim!  What if we lose the election because of the Hispanic vote?!!”

What if Russia’s, Mexico’s or China’s Barack Obama 2 is raised as a REAL Manchurian candidate and is able to discipline themselves for the next two, three or four election cycles to look harmless, and does WORSE than what Obama has done?  It was OPENLY discussed in 1782 and was perpetrated on us since Bill Ayres was planning it 20 years ago.  It’s no longer hypothetical.  Did you really think it was possible for someone to get elected without ever showing their grade school, high school, college, grad school, state senate, social security and passport records?  We don’t even know who paid for this guys school tuition and he’s had $100 Million in donors that we can’t even track.

I suspect one of the reasons that so many of the founders reiterated that our form of Constitutional Republicanism would ONLY work with “moral” and “religious” people is because that they knew, people with no moral standard could take advantage of the freedoms and trusts in the system.  The rules for leaving your car unlocked are much different at church or a big city parking parking garage.  Cloward and Piven devoted their lives to seeking out these “weak points” and exploiting them to crash that very system.  Benjamin Franklin responded to someone asking him what kind of government the framers came up with for our new country.  Franklin famously responded:

A Republic.  If you can keep it.

As we know, most of society is more interested in Kim Kardashian’s latest tweet or boyfriend twit rather than volunteering to watch over the power they give their local school board or city council.  Civic duty now reflects of mostly corrupt relativists who see it for their own power or potential payday.  We’ve been come a culture of entertainment rather than effort, indulgence rather than integrity, and recreation rather than responsibility.

The Framers clearly knew that it would be difficult to stop the worst nature of men, and with admitted Divine help, attempted to design healthy conflicts so no person or group could have enough power to depart from the Constitutional Republican tenants and rights laid out in our very simple founding documents. However, as we’ve seen from Mr. Obama, someone who does not appreciate Judeo/Christian values or the individualistic freedoms of our heritage can not only wantonly ignore the law, but can INTENTIONALLY create crimes that can be covered up within his own sphere of the Executive Branch.  If Holder IS found in contempt by the House, it is Obama’s own donor flakey who gets the case deciding whether to prosecute him or not.

And don’t forget that at any time, Barack Obama can grant a pardon to ANYONE for ANY REASON without ANY repercussion.  Just like Mr. Holder arrange for terrorist and criminal donor pardons for Clinton.

Michelle Malkin is right that every GOP Senator that agreed to confirm Eric Holder despite his clear past crimes, bears some responsibility for every abuse of power perpetrated by Messrs Holder and Obama.  Even the Washington Post warned against Holder’s nomination and it was unheeded by Republicans who didn’t want to appear “racists” rather than merely being responsible with the power we loaned them.

And although many on the left want to redefine “Americanism” to be freedom without responsibility or welfare without obligation – the Framers knew that the Constitution itself prohibited such and thus focused on how to create a system of approvals that would survive momentary swings of popular opinion or mistakes.  The fact that ONLY the President and Vice President have these exceptions, underlies their concern of how quickly the position could become a tyrannical one.

And the most likely saboteur would not be someone who was raised to appreciate those American freedoms after living in tyranny – but someone who was intent to weaken them.  Someone who didn’t consider themselves or their families “American.”

I’ve already decided to sedate myself heavily with sangria and hold my nose in voting for the amoral Mitt just to stop more Obamanation.  But thank God the Founders intended a SEPERATE vote for the person who would step in to lead the country should the President be incapacitated or die.

If Romney or the RINO establishment attempt to push a non-Natural Born Citizen, I’m writing in Sarah Palin.

And you know – even if he nominates a true Natural Born Citizen like Jeb Bush, it still might not be a bad idea for us not to automatically buy in to any RINO Romney wants to extend in power beyond his potential of eight years.

UPDATE: 6-24-2012

I’ve gotten some strange responses from this post, enforcing an anti-intellectual view of issues surrounding the “Natural Born Citizen” issue.  It saddens and pisses me off all at the same time.  Besides the comments below that make no sense (and show that there are conservatives who have no integrity) I have gotten private emails/direct tweets that are suggesting this issue has already been decided by the courts.  They are the Obama Administration's and the GOP Establishment’s Useful Idiots.  I address it here.
